About this policy
This Cookie policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Buildner Academia at uni.bnr.ac. The service is operated by BUILDNER, SLU. Read it alongside the Privacy policy and Terms & conditions.
This inventory describes the implementation supplied with this site. Other Buildner websites and external competition pages have their own policies and settings.
Cookies. Your choice.
Cookies are small values stored in your browser. Local storage and session storage can also remember information on your device. Their purpose, rather than their name, determines whether a choice is required.
Only necessary cookies are currently used. No optional analytics or advertising service is installed or enabled. Choosing “Accept all” therefore activates no additional service. Accepting the tool-use terms does not opt you into tracking.
The banner provides Accept all, Reject optional and Choose settings with equally prominent accept and reject controls. You can close it without making a choice. Optional services remain off.

Both cookies apply to this website and use SameSite=Lax. On HTTPS they are marked Secure. A preference cookie is not permission to enter the tools and does not contain your terms-acceptance token.
Teaching drafts and class access
The teaching tools use local storage to retain your requested settings, selections and drafts on this browser. This is not an analytics service and those local drafts are not automatically uploaded. Local storage has no fixed automatic expiry; it remains until you clear it, remove the relevant draft or the browser removes it.
- Course fit and Skills matrix: filters, priorities and shortlists.
- Cohort cost and Brief card: calculation settings and selected or saved briefs.
- Brief modules, Semester plan, Syllabus block and Grading rubric: teaching drafts and edits.
- Class registration: private instructor or student access details and pending requests needed to recover an interrupted action. Names and email addresses submitted through class registration are separately stored on the server.
The offline demonstration can also store a demonstration class list locally. It does not submit that list to Buildner. Cookie preferences in the offline demonstration last for that browser tab.
Use a private device for class access. Keep private access links secure. Clearing local storage can remove drafts, saved choices and access details; download anything you need first.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics, advertising pixel or tag-manager service is currently enabled on Academia. The cookie panel shows those categories as “Not in use”. The site does not enable an optional service merely because another Buildner website uses it.
If optional services are introduced, this inventory and the controls must identify their providers, purposes and durations. Where consent is required, they must remain inactive until you choose them. We will ask for a new choice before introducing optional services.
Change or clear your choice
Open in the footer or on this page to review your choice. You can change it at any time. The current site continues to use necessary cookies only.
You can also clear cookies and website data through your browser settings. Blocking the essential acceptance cookie prevents the live site from remembering your acceptance and may prevent access to the tools. Blocking local storage can prevent drafts or private class access from being remembered.
Deleting a browser cookie does not erase a separate acceptance record, a class list or an error report already saved on the server. Contact Buildner about those records under the Privacy policy.
Connection records and external links
Hosting systems may keep request and security logs. Live acceptance records and submitted class lists or error reports are server records, not optional analytics cookies. Their purposes and handling are covered by the Privacy policy and the information shown with each function.
Following a link to another website, including a competition page, takes you to that website’s own privacy and cookie arrangements. This banner controls Academia only.
